This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process and deliver orders placed with Ballarat Shelving, delivery timeframes, shipping costs and what to do if your order is lost or damaged.
We deliver within a 1 hour radius around Ballarat, Victoria. Some large items may have restricted delivery zones — delivery availability and prices will be shown at checkout.
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. During peak periods or public holidays processing may take longer.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and depend on item dimensions, weight and destination. For large or palletised deliveries we may contact you to arrange a time window and delivery method (e.g. curbside, kerbside, or tail-lift delivery). Additional charges may apply for residential, remote or restricted-access locations.
Once your order is accepted we will confirm a delivery window with you.
If delivery cannot be completed (for example, no-one is available to accept the delivery) we may leave a card or attempt re-delivery. If an item is unable to be delivered you will be responsible for redelivery fees unless the failure was our fault.
If your order arrives damaged or appears to be missing items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We will investigate and arrange a replacement or refund if the claim is accepted.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are dispatched. Title passes according to the terms in your order confirmation — usually on payment and dispatch.
